By tweeting, "All fantastic things coming," Jason Momoa appears to be hinting that Ben Affleck will reprise his role as Batman in Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom.
The Academy Award winner, 49, shared images of their most recent altercation on the Warner Bros. set, where they were caught by fans on a tour,
fueling rumours that he may reprise his role as Batman in Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom.
Warner Bros. or an Affleck spokesperson did not immediately respond to requests for comment from PEOPLE.
According to Keanu Reeves, performing in a live-action movie would be "a dream." Perhaps Later," responds Batman.
When a tour group apparently bumped into him and Affleck as they were leaving the set, the Aquaman star recorded a video of himself laughing and posted it online.
So, it's not exactly a filthy secret anymore, is it? Momoa apologised for using vulgar language in front of the kids when he caught the tour bus's audience laughing.
Well, we made an effort to conceal it. That's what happens, Warner Bros., when you leave your set and our fans are waiting for you.
In the pictures Momoa provided of the Justice League co-stars getting along and having fun behind the scenes, Affleck seemed to be dressed in Bruce Wayne's finest attire.
"Bruce and Arthur got back together. WB studio tours merely relocated to the backlot. Love you and miss you, Ben.
AQUAMAN 2 has interesting things coming, all my aloha J., as was discovered while on set." Added a caption by Momoa.
Even though the DC superhero movie's filming had wrapped up in December, retakes for the blockbuster movie,
which is scheduled to arrive in theatres in March 2023, appear to be ongoing.
Affleck, who previously said he played Bruce Wayne "for my kids," made his debut as the Dark Knight in the 2016 movie Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
In the five films from the DC Extended Universe that have come out since, including The Flash and Justice League, both of which will be released in 2019, he has played Batman.
The Flash, in Affleck's words, was "really beautiful" and "very joyous," and it was "a really pleasant way to revisit it as the preceding experience had been tough," he added.
Christian Bale has stated that he would only take on the role of Batman again if he could collaborate with director Christopher Nolan one again.
Robert Pattinson is getting set to don the bat ears for Matt Reeves' The Batman 2.
