Great Features
The new Slavia’s interior layout is identical to that of the Octavia. Some of the switchgear and trims, such as buttons, touch-based climate control, and a two-spoke steering wheel, appear to have been stolen from the Kushaq. It has a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone connectivity incorporated into the dashboard. Just below the information unit are AC vents. A digital instrument cluster, automated climate control, wireless charging pad, ventilated seats, leather upholstery, auto dimming internal rearview mirror, keyless entry, connected car technologies, and more are included in the sedan. The entry-level Active trim will have a 7-inch touchscreen info display, according to the report.
Safety Features
Six airbags, a rear parking camera, ISOFIX child seat mount, hill hold control (optional), an electronic differential system (EDS), multi-collision brakes, and a tyre pressure monitor system are included in the new Slavia sedan’s safety features. The new Skoda sedan has the segment’s longest wheelbase, allowing for additional legroom.
Bigger than Rapid
The Slavia is Skoda’s second vehicle built on the made-in-India MQB A0 IN platform, following the Kushaq SUV. The new Skoda sedan measures 4541 mm in length, 1752 mm in width, and 1487 mm in height. It features the largest wheelbase in its segment, measuring 2651 mm. The Slavia is 128 mm longer, 53 mm broader, and 20 mm higher than the Rapid. It’s also bigger than the first-generation Octavia.
