ICC ODI Rankings: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has issued the current ODI rankings for batsmen and bowlers. Babar Azam leads the batters, while Trent Boult continues to lead the bowlers.
Top 10 Batters in the ICC ODI Rankings: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has revealed the newest rankings of ODI batsmen and bowlers. According to the most recent ICC update, India’s new limited-overs skipper, Rohit Sharma, is still in third place, although his lead over colleague Virat Kohli has narrowed dramatically.
Virat Kohli, a former captain, is in second place. With his half-century in the opening ODI of the three-match series against the West Indies, Rohit gained critical rating points. Kohli has 828 rating points, while Rohit has 807.
Babar Azam, the captain of Pakistan, remains at the top of the batsman rankings, while his countrymen Fakhar Zaman and England batsman Joe Root have also cracked the top ten. Shai Hope of the West Indies has slid out of the top ten after scoring eight runs in the first ODI against India.
Bowlers Ranking
The top-10 list of bowlers has remained unchanged, with Indian fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah remaining in seventh place. Ravindra Jadeja, on the other hand, is the top Indian all-rounder, ranking eighth in the list.
Jason Holder of the West Indies has moved up four places to number 20 after scoring a half-century in the first One-Day International against India. Jatinder Singh of Oman has climbed 26 places in the batsmen’s list to reach the top 100. In the opening match of the UAE series, he hit a century. The match is part of League 2 of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup (2nd level). He is the second top run-scorer in ‘League 2’ with 594 runs in 23 matches.
